Who writes this
James Saito is an intelligence operative specializing in HUMINT collection, analysis, and operations with two decades of experience in the field. He is the author of the popular Japanese-language geopolitical intelligence newsletter, James Saito's Strategic Intelligence World, and the 2024 Amazon Japan bestseller, The Super Truths Happening in the World Right Now That Japanese People Don't Know.
The endorsement, and where to check it
The line runs across the obi, the paper band around the book, in the largest type on it after the title, beside Dr. Hideto Tomabechi's photograph: ジェームズ斉藤は本物である。それは私、苫米地英人が保証する
. In English: James Saito is the real thing. I, Hideto Tomabechi, guarantee it. He also contributed a section to the book, headed 「ジェームズ斉藤とは何者か?」 (who is James Saito?).
It is not a private reference. It is on the object, in a bookshop, at reading distance: Business-sha, August 2024, ISBN 978-4-8284-2653-2. The publisher's page and the major Japanese booksellers carry it too. Go and check it there rather than taking this page's word for it. That is the whole point of printing where it came from.
Two limits on it, stated here because this page is where limits belong. It was given for that book, in 2024. It is a statement about the author, not an endorsement of anything sold on this site, and it is not printed on any page that asks for money.
Reaching the desk, and being sure it is the desk
The house keeps a verification route independent of every channel it broadcasts on, so that anything consequential can be confirmed without relying on the channel it arrived through. If a message claiming to come from this desk asks you for money, credentials, or a favour, it did not come from this desk. Check it on the route, not on the channel.

Payment
Fieldwork is sold through a merchant of record: the payment company is the seller contracting with you, carries the tax and invoice obligations, and appears on your statement with a short brand string and never a person's name. Ask and we will name the processor plainly.
